Privacy policy

SellThroo is a product of Brandstac Private Limited, 5/36, 2nd Floor, Lajpat Nagar 4, New Delhi 110024, India (“Brandstac”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what information SellThroo collects, why, where it is stored, who can access it and how to have it deleted. It covers sellthroo.com and the SellThroo app at app.sellthroo.com.
Information you give us
- Early access requests: your name, work email, brand, website or store link, approximate monthly Amazon.in sales, who runs your listings and, if you choose, a WhatsApp number.
- Account details: your name, email and the organisation you create in the app.
- Brand and product information: product facts, images, documents you upload as evidence for product claims, and content you create or approve in SellThroo.
Amazon seller data
When you connect an Amazon.in seller account, you authorize SellThroo through Amazon’s own authorization page. Amazon then gives us a token that lets SellThroo use the Amazon Selling Partner API for that account. You can revoke this at any time from Seller Central.
With that authorization, SellThroo reads and, only when you approve a change, updates:
- your listings, catalog attributes, images and A+ content;
- pricing and competitive offer information for your own products;
- inventory levels and order information without buyer personal details;
- fees, settlements and reimbursements, to calculate profit per product;
- account health information;
- Brand Analytics search reports, if your brand is registered.
SellThroo does not request buyer names, addresses, phone numbers or email addresses, and does not use Amazon’s restricted data roles.
How we use information
- To provide SellThroo to you: finding listing issues, drafting changes, and applying the ones you approve.
- To show you why each change is proposed, and keep a record of every change and who approved it.
- To contact you about your early access request or your account.
- To keep the service secure and working.
Data from your seller account is used only to provide SellThroo to you. It is never combined with other brands’ data, used to benefit another seller, sold, or used for advertising.
AI processing
SellThroo uses AI models to draft listing content, analyse listings and generate images. Product information, listing text and images are sent to the AI providers listed below through their business APIs, under terms that do not allow them to train their models on this data. Buyer personal data is never sent to AI providers.
Where data is stored and who processes it
We use these service providers, bound by contract, only to run SellThroo:

Security
- All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher) and at rest.
- Amazon authorization tokens are additionally encrypted with a separate key.
- Access is limited to people who need it to run the service, protected by multi-factor authentication.
- Every change SellThroo makes to a listing is logged.
Retention and deletion
- If you disconnect your Amazon account or close your SellThroo account, your Amazon seller data is deleted within 30 days.
- Early access requests are kept until you ask us to delete them or we stop the early access programme.
- You can ask us to delete any of your information at any time by emailing us.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, as provided under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Email privacy@sellthroo.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Data Protection Board of India.
Cookies
sellthroo.com uses no advertising or tracking cookies. The app uses essential cookies to keep you signed in.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, if you have an account, tell you by email before the changes take effect.
